pomegranate cocktail

It is almost hard to believe the holiday season was long over… Of course, nothing screams holiday more than a good cocktail! If you love an invigorating pomegranate as much as we do, follow our recipe below for a well-deserved summer cocktail. Or make it a reviving mocktail by skipping the alcohol. Don’t forget to use crystal-clear ice. They are essentially tasteless because they are made out of pure water. In other words, clear ice won’t ruin the taste of your favourite drinks!

  • 60mL gin or vodka (or skip this for a mocktail version)
  • 30mL pomegranate juice
  • 15mL of fresh lime juice
  • A Pomegranate
  • Mint leaves
  • Scotsman dice ice
  • Tonic water, to top

  • Roll the Pomegranate to loosen the seeds, cut it in half and hold it over a bowl with the seeds side facing down
  • Tap the fruit skin with a spoon to release the seeds, set aside
  • Muddle fresh mint leaves in a lowball glass and top it with Scotsman ice
  • Add gin, pomegranate and lime juice with crushed ice into a cocktail shaker
  • Shake to combine and strain into glass
  • Decorate with a sprinkle of Pomegranate seeds
  • Topped with Tonic water

And you are welcome 🙂
