Learn how you can reinvent the roast chicken with Turbofan commercial kitchen equipment.

According to the Australian Chicken Meat Federation Inc., in 2015-16 Australians consumed almost 50 kilograms of chicken each, almost double pork produce.

By using a Turbofan convection oven, your roast chicken could be taken to a whole new innovative and crowd-pleasing level with convection oven cooking technology. Here is a great way to use one:

Remember to cook with wine that you would be more than happy to drink!

Cooking with wine can be a great way to add some really rich flavours to a meat. For a roast dish that will include lots of sugars from fruits and vegetables, Wine Enthusiast Magazine recommends using a fuller-bodied red or white wine to complement the sweetness. Fine Cooking also sets a reminder to cook with wine that you would be more than happy to drink, because a bad wine cannot be hidden when it is used in a dish.

Preheat your Turbofan convection oven to 190ºC. The efficient fan system will work quickly to heat up the machine. Fry the chicken separately until it is golden and set aside. If you are cooking for lots of people at a time, the convection cooking technology can really save time because of the much larger volume of air passing over the food. Add carrots, onions and garlic to a low-heat pan until soft.

Place the chicken back in with vegetables and add rosemary, then flour. Heat until further coloured for about three to four minutes in preparation for the Turbofan. Pour in your selected wine and bring the whole thing to the boil again, reducing the liquid by half. Add chopped potatoes and stock and boil once more.

Move everything into a roasting pan and place in the Turbofan oven. The versatile convection oven technology evenly distributes heat over the food. The chicken will be falling off the bone, and there won’t be any concerns over partially cooked meat. The greater power of the Turbofan ovens delivers much higher air volumes around the food.

In a smaller roasting dish, add grapes drizzled in oil and cook until caramelised in the oven. When the grapes are done, remove both dishes. Mix in the grapes with the chicken and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve, and take advantage of the easily cleaned Turbofan porcelain enamel. The completely sealed interior of the oven means that there will be no wasted time making sure the cooking equipment is clean for its next use.
