<\/p>\nAfter beginning as a popular bar, Pleased to Meet You now offers patrons the chance to eat quality food alongside their specialty drinks, with the development of an all-new restaurant space.<\/p>\n
PTMY was famous for a particular passion, serving an amazing range of gins, in the heart of Newcastle, England. With the restaurant opening, people now have the opportunity to dine on more than a martini lunch.<\/p>\n
The revealed bricks and pipes next to the glittering chandeliers give the d\u00e9cor within the restaurant an industrialised glamour feel.<\/p>\n
This marriage of characters is also reflected in the food style where Executive Chef Dave Kennedy mixes French techniques with the modern British approach to food.<\/p>\n
The featured ingredients in the menu designed by Dave come from farms, coasts and woodlands from the north east of England. \u201cMy aim is to offer a different dining experience. What\u2019s on the menu is driven by seasonal produce\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re known locally as the go-to venue\u201d, explains Dave. \u201cSo the introduction of the restaurant was a natural response to the popularity of this destination\u201d.<\/p>\n
The restaurant, with a capacity of 100, is often filled to the brim with eager diners wanting to meet and greet these new fresh tastes. The overwhelming response to this new adventure has been very positive.<\/p>\n

In fine-tuning the fit out of the kitchen, Dave Kennedy\u2019s priority was for robustness and reliability as PTMY was sure to be a hard-working kitchen.<\/p>\n
After consulting Crosbys, Dave went ahead and had installed from the Blue Seal Range<\/a><\/span><\/span>, a fryer, a heavy duty griddle, and 80 litre bratt pan and two ovens to meet varying needs (G506D and G570). \u201cI have a good relationship with Crosbys and my decision came about largely due to their advice\u201d says Dave.<\/p>\n \u201cThis heavy duty equipment represented excellent value for money and the durability and reliability I have with Blue Seal gives me the peace of mind that I need.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI need kitchen appliances that are going to survive long term use \u2013 and I have this with Blue Seal\u201d happily reported Dave.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
