Inside, the dining matches\u00a0the scenery thanks to an investment in superior kitchen tech.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As well as offering a spectacular, 18-hole Par 7 1 course\u00a0designed by Greg Norman, the Eastern Golf Club includes\u00a0a range of recreational and practice golf facilities, luxury\u00a0cottage accommodation and a sophisticated $11 million\u00a0clubhouse that\u2019s available for use by members and their\u00a0guests.<\/p>\n<p>Open since July, the new clubhouse has a north-facing\u00a0flowing design with an open layout that can cater for up\u00a0to 400 guests at any time. Including a members\u2019 lounge, a\u00a0members\u2019 dining room and a function room, the clubhouse\u00a0is open for lunch seven days a week, and offers breakfast\u00a0on weekends. The facility also caters for weddings,\u00a0corporate golf events, private functions and conferences.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Telley, the Club\u2019s General Manager, says that opening in Yering\u00a0was a $70 million tourism investment into the Yarra Valley. He is\u00a0confident the course will help establish the area as a premier golf\u00a0destination domestically and internationally. Already there is a two\u00a0to three year wait for top tier membership of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Ben\u2019s promotion of the club goes beyond its premium golfing\u00a0facilities however, and he hopes guests enjoy the Yarra Valley as a\u00a0place in which to enjoy superb food and wine as well as golf.<\/p>\n<p>The tools available in the kitchen determine a big part of this\u00a0enjoyment. While it\u2019s still early days for the new clubhouse they are\u00a0already happy with the overall performance of their kitchen. \u201cSo\u00a0far, in terms of the design and operation of the equipment, it\u2019s been\u00a0great. Also, located in the\u00a0Yarra Valley, an area renowned for its fantastic food and wine, the\u00a0clubhouse needed to deliver to a premium standard.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason Eastern Golf Club took the recommendation of\u00a0their design consultancy, MTD, and installed high-end equipment in\u00a0the new kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Telley says he has experience with the technology, and has always\u00a0held it in high regard. \u201cWaldorf have a great level of quality and a very\u00a0strong reputation. I\u2019ve used it (the equipment) previously and found it\u00a0to be very reliable, especially for high volume use,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>The clubhouse kitchen has been outfitted with a full suite of cooking\u00a0equipment. Along with <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moffat.com.au\/products-list?f%5B0%5D=field_product_brand%3A2028\" target=\"_blank\">Rieber<\/a><\/span> plate dispensers a range of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moffat.com.au\/products-list?f%5B0%5D=field_product_brand%3A2002\" target=\"_blank\">Waldorf<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>products have been configured. The extensive list includes the\u00a0versatile Waldorf pasta cooker, target top, salamander, twin pan\u00a0fryer, chargrill, griddle oven, oven range and bratt pan. They also\u00a0have a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moffat.com.au\/products-list?f%5B0%5D=field_product_brand%3A2010\" target=\"_blank\">Convotherm<\/a><\/span> combi oven \u2013 an essential piece in any modern\u00a0busy kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really have the full complement,\u201d Ben says.
