It’s for this reason that Moffat recently decided to introduce some of Europe’s most highly regarded ice machines into the local market.
The Italian-manufactured Icematic range includes modular ice machines, undercounter ice machines, ice flakers, and separate storage bins.
One of the key differentiators of the Icematic range is the size and quality of ice it produces - specifically, 8g or 20g cubes, which have a unique solid ice cube shape.
Self Contained Ice Machines
The NEW self contained ice maker range is designed for small to medium volumes of ice production, anywhere between 56 to to 275 ice cubes per cycle and have large capacity storage bins. The NEW Icematic Self Contained machines range is now offering: CS25, CS30, CS40, CS50, CS70 and CS90.
Modular Ice Machines
The modular ice maker range is typically designed for those who are after higher volumes of ice production, anywhere between 138 - 431 kg of ice per cycle and produce small or medium sized ice cubes (8g or 20g ice cubes), dependent upon your model of choice. These units include a vertical evaporator with a circulation pump, an easy to use electronic control panel with LEDs to show proper functioning or warning signs and some units now come standard with a remote condenser unit.
Testament to it's truly modular design, the units are head only units, meaning each model in the range requires a compatible storage bin (information on compatible storage bins for each model can be found on the product detail page on our website).
Modular Ice Machines with Remote Condenser Unit
For those operating multiple systems in the same area, or need to eliminate the heat and noise produced by an ice maker, the remote condenser models are the way to go. Icematic now offers modular ice makers with a remote condenser. The condenser produces most of the noise and the heat generated by the system, hence the remote condenser unit allows the condenser to operate in a totally different space, typically outside. That’s a good thing for cramped kitchens or hotels that don’t want the ill effects of an ice machine filling the halls, particularly when they operate several of those systems.
Ice FlakersIdeal for ice displays in seafood retail, therapeutic use in hospitals and healthcare facilities, as well as blended beverages. Icematic flake ice machines produce a soft, smooth, slow-melting and versatile ice form that never fails to please.
The SF80C and SF125C flake ice machines are self-contained, meaning they have an in-built storage bin whereas the MF120, MF200, MF300, MF500 and MF1000 are all modular head unit only ultimately requiring a compatible storage bin to hold the ice flake outputs from the machine. Likewise with the modular ice maker models, all non self-contained ice flaker machines require a seperate storage bin and more information on compatible storage bins are available on the product detail page on our website.
The Icematic range of Storage Bins work hand in hand with the modular ice makers alongside ice flakers and compatibility is dependent on the model of choice.
In the larger models, the Icematic storage bins can store over one tonne of ice and the smallest unit can store 129kg of ice. So dependent on your require icematic has the right solution for your business. Icematic storage bins have heavily insulted with high density polyurethane, with a robust door frame that resists operation abuse and the storage bin base drain conveniently rotates on all units to allow ease of connection with any floor water drain position. The Icematic range of storage bins are compatible with both modular ice machines and ice flaker units.
Of course, the Icematic range offers great value for money, and is supplied to customers along with Moffat’s Service and Parts Guarantees.
